Title: Self-medication in urban and rural Maharashtra, India.

Project synopsis: This study will be done as a cross sectional survey, as face to face interviews of people in urban and rural areas of Maharashtra, India. Validated survey questionnaire will be used to determine medication habits, and relation between socioeconomic and medication habits.
Study objectives: To study the medication habits of people in Urban (Mumbai) and Rural (Raigad) areas of western Maharashtra, India. To identify the association between socioeconomics (education and occupation) and medication habits of people.
Study progress: Field study completed, 2 manuscripts published, 3rd manuscript in progress
